Your mission
As a Nix & NixOS DevOps Professional (m/f/d), you’ll work with us on projects that take modern infrastructure, reproducible builds, and automation to the next level. You’ll support our clients in sustainably integrating Nix & NixOS into their systems and teams.
What you’ll do
- Integration and Infrastructure: Integrate different systems and manage Kubernetes and Linux environments (mostly).
- Continuous Integration/Delivery: Design and optimize continuous integration processes (frequently).
- Software Development: Occasionally support software development efforts.
- Core goal: Use Nix and NixOS to optimize workflows and sustainably improve the efficiency and reliability of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure for our clients.
- Open Source: You’ll regularly have opportunities to contribute to open source projects.
Your profile
- Basic knowledge of Nix and NixOS (you don’t have to be a guru – we’ll help you become one)
- Experience with Kubernetes and GNU/Linux
- Experience with systemd or the willingness to proactively learn it
- You work in a self-organized way and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for remote collaboration
- Confident client communication
- Good German skills (B2+) and English
Nice to have
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Hydra, etc.)
- Affinity for open source (GitHub contributions welcome!)
Security
Due to the sensitivity of some of our projects, a security clearance may be required; willingness to undergo the process is expected.
Travel
Occasional short trips (1–several days) to client sites within Germany when needed.
